Post #4 O'The Day

Well, I got my nearly 3 hours of sleep after all, so I'm functional. But today's plans got a little mucked up.

Track starts at 10 AM, and we have to leave by 9:45. At 9:00 AM, it started to rain heavily. OK, no track then. By 9:30 it was down to a sprinkle. OK, we'll go to track. Oh, crap, how could I have done all that laundry and Zipper *still* has no shorts to wear. OK, find *something*. Come on, come on, let's get the raincoats and umbrella and move, move, we're going to be late! Arrive right at 10:00 AM - hmmm...not many kids here, rain must have scared them off. Walk to the track from the car...flash! boom! Oh, crap, thunderstorm's coming in. No track, time to go home.

Ugh.
